Abstract

The ASEAN Guidelines on Recognition of Customary Tenure in Forested Landscapes was developed in collaboration with the ASEAN Secretariat, ASEAN Senior Officials on Forestry, and the ASEAN Working Group on Social Forestry, with support from the Mekong Region Land Governance (MRLG) Project and the Green Livelihoods Alliance (GLA). Support for the Guidelines was also rendered by the Non-Timber Forest Products Exchange Programme Asia (NTFP-EP Asia), with technical guidance and inputs from the Customary Tenure Drafting Team from the Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact (AIPP), Asian Farmers Association for Sustainable Rural Development (AFA), and the MRLG Secretariat.
